Mr. Whitaker practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions; commercial contracts and leases; corporate and business law; and employment contracts.

Mr. Whitaker’s corporate practice includes entity selection and formation; preparing and negotiating shareholder, partnership and LLC operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, and executive employment agreements, including equity participation, noncompetition, confidentiality and trade secret agreements. He engages in the preparation and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts.

His extensive national mergers and acquisitions practice includes transactions in the medical, biopharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing, food and beverage, staffing, engineering, consumer products, automotive, marine, exhibition and festival, asphalt, construction and development industries. He advises boards of directors on governance issues.
