Experience
With nearly three decades of experience in construction litigation, Hardy Roberts is known for navigating highly complex disputes, including multiple matters with amounts in controversy exceeding $100 million. He has been Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar since 2005 and is a Past Chair of the Florida Bar’s 600-plus member Construction Law Committee.
Hardy's comprehensive regulatory experience spans both private and governmental sectors across Florida, enhancing his litigation strategy with a nuanced understanding of industry standards and practices. As the former General Counsel and Interim Secretary of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, he led over 40 attorneys representing the Division of Professions in matters relating to contractors, engineers, architects, and other professions.
He is a proactive advocate for integrating technology with the practice of law. He chairs the Information Technology Committee for the Florida Bar's largest section. He is also a founding member of the Bar’s Special Committee on AI Tools and Resources and received the Florida Bar President’s Award in 2024 for this work.
